Wiggly Jiggly Bugs!
As the kids at the daycare get older there are more and more things that they are discovering with each season. This spring and almost summer we are now discovering all kinds of bugs. To keep in this theme of discovery we created our own bugs: caterpillars (made from paper chains) and earthworms (made of fruit o's)! I definitely enjoyed playing with our creations as opposed to the real tent caterpillars which have been invading our yard!

I love the creativity the children show, even in the pictures you take for the blog. They make their creations truly come alive. Their smiles say it all: that they really enjoy their projects and their time at Susan's. It's so great to see tasks performed that involve fine motor skills, such as beading/threading, and that the children do it themselves so it looks like their work not a perfect recreation of an original. Good work boys and girls!
