Painting Doggies

This week is D and dogs are our theme.  Children painted, coloured, cut and glued to create a fun dog craft.  It's wonderful to see how their fine motor skills are progressing.

Story Time with Mike

Today we had a special guest read our quiet time story.  Thanks Mike!!  You did a very good job. :)

Library Day

Thursday mornings are when we head to the library to shake our sillies out and wiggle our waggles away!!  We also get to make new friends and create fun projects.

Meow!!

Children pretended to be colourful cats this week!!  It was quite interesting to hear the different sounds that cats make (purr, meow, "growling").

Valentines Party!!

Children celebrated Valentine's Day at Susan's this week.  This themed day was filled with crafts, games, activities, red treats and TONS OF FUN!!  It's always fun to celebrate holidays at Susan's.

Valentine Bug

Valentine's Day is right around the corner so crafts at Susan's are revolving around this theme.  Today we created hats with hearts hence, becoming Valentine bugs. :)

Take a Look in a Book

Reading books is a favourite past time at Susan's.  Children love to listen and discuss stories as well as read and peruse books on their own.  Many even like to look at books together.  It's great to hear the conversations these young children have about the stories they're "reading".
